Welcome to beLong

beLong at Houghton Hall is a Heritage Lottery Fund-supported project that allows young people in Norfolk schools to experience world-class land art in a unique setting.

EARTH SKY is a landmark exhibition at Houghton Hall which will feature new works by Turner Prize-winning artist Richard Long, using locally-sourced materials, his largest UK exhibition since 2009.

Long’s new pieces in the grounds of Houghton Hall use a variety of materials, including local carr stone, trees from the Estate and slate, and accompany the permanent Long sculpture, Full Moon Circle, which was commissioned for Houghton in 2003.
